CPR and First Aid Instruction

"I will never need this." Really?!!? My high school students and adult students said that, and within three weeks, two of them had saved their mothers' lives. It's only a matter of time before a serious medical emergency occurs. Being able to recognize an emergency, activate 911 , and safely provide the indicated care until more trained providers can take over is the role of the first aid provider. This class will help prepare you for that eventuality.

Our experienced instructors are committed to teaching CPR and first aid training. We understand the demands of everyday life and strive to make our classes convenient and easy to learn. We offer classes at our comfortable, convenient location, and we're willing to travel to teach groups of 8 or more at a time and date that is best for you and your group.

There are "hands on" opportunities that allow each participant to feel comfortable with the basic life support skills. The class is held in a stress free environment where questions are encouraged and answered.

Instructor, Carolyn Ruhm Forston has assisted 1000's of Hi Desert residents, certificated and classified school employees, and coaches in becoming proficient in administering CPR and First Aid. The Medic First program which we use, allows for a flexible teaching style that benefits the students in Hi Desert CPR classes. The certification earned follows American Heart Association and American Red Cross guidelines and is recognized by the State of California and throughout the U.S
